640 Magazine Street was built for the W. B. Reily Co and has sat in its present form since the 1930’s. The project is under redevelopment in accordance with the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Standards for Historic Rehabilitation, with Rick Fifield acting as the historic architect for the project. The proposed rehabilitation plan for the project includes a roof top addition in which a site-line survey was needed to be approved by the National Park Service. To gain approval, an in-depth survey documenting every roof top addition approved by the National Park Service in the Central Business District was conducted.
